    Overview

Reviving the tradition of the mandolin as a serious instrument for the concert and recital halls, the Israeli musician was the first proponent of the mandolin to be nominated for a Classical GRAMMY. More than 100 works have been composed specially for him, some 15 of them concertos. With a leading period ensemble and conductor he focuses on music from the Baroque period, including arrangements of works originally conceived for other instruments.
