Overview

Sally Beamish’s Nine Fragments – String Quartet No. 4 is the compulsory piece for this year’s Competition and will be played by each of the competing quartets during the Preliminary Round at Wigmore Hall on Thursday 7 and Friday 8 April. In this afternoon's talk, Sally’s insights will be illustrated by live excerpts played by the Carducci String Quartet.
