Overview

The young German baritone received second prize at the 2015 Wigmore Hall Song Competition and has received a slew of other international awards as part of a rising career that has already seen him appear at many major venues. His programme features Brahms’s 8 Lieder Op. 57, settings of Georg Friedrich Daumer – the poet the German composer set more than any other – plus three of Brahms’s folksong arrangements.
