Overview
After directing a performance by the two brothers, conductor Michael Schønwandt described the experience as ‘like driving a pair of BMWs’. Members of a highly musical Dutch family, the pair recently enjoyed a residency at the Berlin Konzerthaus. Their programme consists of duets from the Classical repertoire plus duet and duo versions respectively of orchestral masterpieces by Stravinsky and Ravel.
