An ensemble that has regularly pushed the boundaries begins with a relatively conventional first half but then concentrates on one of its specialties – ‘the rich Nordic folk music tradition,’ as they put it. ‘We believe that we have found a nice little niche … utilizing our strengths as a string quartet to show some of the treasures of our Nordic music tradition’.
