Overview
‘One of the most versatile singing artists performing today’, wrote Bachtrack, ‘being equally skilled in classical repertoire and less mainstream works’. Recipient of the 2022 Beverly Sills Artist Award from the Metropolitan Opera, the baritone opened the Met 2022/3 season in Terence Blanchard’s Fire Shut Up in My Bones and later in 2023 will return in Anthony Davis’s X: The Life and Times of Malcolm X.
