Cancelled Concert

​Owing to illness, the Doric String Quartet are no longer available for the above concert. The concert has therefore been cancelled – there will be no replacement.

An ensemble that has enjoyed success over a wide repertoire since its foundation in 1998 shares its name, as The Arts Desk has explained, ‘with the plainest of ancient Greek columns, but the colourful approach relates more closely to the elaborate Corinthian style: thoughtful intuitiveness added considerable yet entirely appropriate colour’.
