Since 2005 four leading individual musicians have regularly come together to explore repertoire benefiting from the use of gut strings and historical bows, their historically aware technical skills winning them praise from critics and audiences alike. Here they are joined by a foremost clarinettist for one of the most popular works in the chamber repertoire.
