Overview

In musical reflections old and new, this concert combines Dvořák’s instrumental reworking of youthful love songs with Brahms’s first large-scale string chamber work, and Suk’s tender Meditation on ‘Saint Wenceslas’. The brilliant fireworks of Dvořák’s ‘Dumky’ Trio complete the programme.
