Known for its electrifying interpretations, the Schumann Quartet dives deep into Mozart’s ebullient ‘Hoffmeister’ Quartet and ‘From my life’, in which Smetana invited its performers to ‘converse together in an intimate circle about the things which so deeply trouble me’.
