A most thoughtful and expressive artist, Swiss pianist Francesco Piemontesi reveals his latest insights into Schubert’s Impromptus D935, improvisatory compositions that span vast galaxies of emotion, and Liszt’s protean Piano Sonata. He begins with Schubert’s ‘Grazer Fantasie’, a work of delightful contrasts and intoxicating charm.
