Programme

Overview

Puccini’s Crisantemi, written overnight in response to news of the sudden death of his friend Amedeo di Savoia, the Duke of Aosta, provides the heart-melting overture to the Novus String Quartet’s searching interpretations of impassioned works by Janáček and Brahms.
