Wigmore Hall’s James Baillieu Focus Day ends in high style with a recital, given in company with the inimitable Jamie Barton, of enchanting mélodies by Henri Duparc and classics from the Walt Disney songbook. Their programme includes the song cycle Jake Heggie wrote for Barton in 2021 and Melissa Dunphy’s dramatic 4 Poems of Nikita Gill.
