Overview

Hailed by the New York Times for his ‘uncommon sensitivity’ and by BBC Music Magazine for his ‘penetrating musicianship’, Inon Barnatan’s poetic brand of pianism is universally admired. He explores early and late Brahms this evening, adding fresh perspectives to the composer’s sublime Op. 118 Klavierstücke by placing them in company with Jörg Widmann’s haunting Intermezzi.
