Overview

Danny Driver, praised by Gramophone for his ‘mindful musicianship’, launches his Wigmore Hall Variations series with one of the greatest sets of variations ever written. Johann Sebastian Bach builds his Goldberg Variations on the bass line of its opening Aria, creating a tour de force of contrapuntal styles and keyboard virtuosity.
