Overview

Founded in 2010, the ensemble led by Jonathan Cohen rose quickly to the top level of Baroque performance. During 2016-7 it became the first Baroque Ensemble in Residence at Wigmore Hall, where it maintains a regular presence, while since its debut in 2016 it has returned twice to the BBC Proms; its recordings of a wide range of repertoire have been received with critical plaudits and several top awards.
