Overview

The Austrian-Iranian cellist came to prominence performing Beethoven’s Triple Concerto with the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra in 2015, following up that success with the Lucerne Festival’s Credit Suisse Young Artist Award and the Schleswig-Holstein Festival’s Bernstein Award, both in 2017. Subsequent recordings – often in collaboration with Daniel Barenboim – have been widely praised.
