Discounts & Concessions

For selected concerts, concessionary tickets are available. Not all discounted or concessionary tickets are available online; please check with the Box Office for further details. All discounts are subject to availability and change.

CAVATINA Under 25s Scheme

A limited number of free tickets in rows T to V are available for each selected concert on the CAVATINA Under 25s Scheme. These are allocated on a first come first served basis and tickets must be booked before 6:30pm on the date of the concert. Full price tickets can be booked at the same time for accompanying adults.

Discounts for Disabled Visitors

Visitors with a disability are invited to join our free Access list. Once registered you may be eligible for a 30% discount on tickets. This discount may be extended to your companion if you require assistance to attend performances at Wigmore Hall.

There are a limited number of wheelchair spaces available which are also sold at this discounted rate.

Customers who join our Access List are able to purchase discounted tickets online, in person and over the phone at Wigmore Hall.

Group Discounts

We offer a 10% discount when 12 or more tickets are purchased in one transaction for the same event.

Reservations for group bookings can be held up until one month before the event and are subject to availability.

BBC Radio 3 Lunchtime and Sunday Morning Concert Concessions

Senior Citizen and Student concessions are available for most BBC Radio 3 Lunchtime and Sunday Morning concerts. These tickets can be purchased in advance, online, in person and via telephone with the Box Office.

In order to gain access to the Senior Citizens’ ticket price on our website, please log in, visit the My Account section and update your Date of Birth.

Standby Discounts

Standby tickets are sold from one hour prior to the start of the concert and are only available in person at the Box Office - subject to availability. Standby tickets are not available for online or telephone booking.
They are available to:

  • Students
  • Senior Citizens
  • The unemployed

Please bring relevant ID to confirm your status.

Standby Tickets are sold at ‘best available for the lowest published ticket price’.

Only one standby ticket can be purchased per person.

Standby tickets are not available for BBC Lunchtime Concerts or Sunday Morning Concerts.

Under 35s Ticketing Scheme

For selected concerts, tickets are available for the significantly reduced price of £5.

Book by phone: Call the Box Office on 020 7935 2141 and quote 'Under 35s Scheme'.

Book Online: Create an account or log in and visit the My Account section and update your Date of Birth. Once this has been saved, all current Under 35s discounts will be applied to relevant concerts.

  • Tickets will be available for collection one hour before the concert is due to start or you have the option to select 'Print at Home' during your order.
  • Please bring photo ID to the performance as proof of age when collecting tickets.
  • Please note that only customers aged under 35 are entitled to a £5 ticket, and that individual IDs will be checked for each ticket.

Any full price tickets purchased prior to the Under 35s concerts being announced are not eligible for reimbursements to the discounted price.

Student Discounts

Students of any age can benefit from Concession rates to the BBC Radio 3 Lunchtime Concerts and the Sunday Morning Concerts, so long as they hold a valid Student ID. These can be purchased in person from the Box Office or by telephone on 020 7935 2141.

All student tickets will be held for collection on the day of the concert, when you will need to bring a valid student ID.
