Terms and conditions of sale and attendance

Mobile devices

The use of 'Do Not Disturb', 'Airplane' or silent modes on mobile devices is not permitted. All mobile devices must be powered off during performances.

Tickets

Please carefully check the details on your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.

Reselling your ticket for profit or gain makes it void. Only tickets sold from the Wigmore Hall Box Office or appointed agents are valid for admission.

Tickets sold via third parties and other unauthorised outlets, including online auction sites, are not valid for admission. Holders of re-sold tickets may be refused entry.

For certain events, a limited number of tickets are available per person.

Refunds

All tickets are subject to our exchange policy listed below.

If the performance is interrupted and does not continue, money will only be refunded if the interruption occurs before the interval.

Re-sales

We only accept tickets for re-sale in the event of a sold out concert. You will receive a refund if we are able to re-sell your ticket. This is typically credited to the account on our system, and can be redeemed against any purchase from Wigmore Hall. The re-sale fee is £2.00 per ticket.

Exchanges

If you need to return your tickets we will be happy to exchange them for a Credit Voucher valid for 6 months. Tickets must be returned to the Box Office at least two weeks prior to the concert.

Gift certificates

Gift certificates are valid for 1 year from the date of issue.

Gift certificates have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Gift certificates are not transferable and are valid only for the purchase of Wigmore Hall concert tickets, Friends memberships and for making donations.

Tickets purchased using gift certificates are subject to standard ticket conditions printed on the reverse of tickets.

Gift certificates cannot be used in the restaurant.

Gift Membership Vouchers

Gift membership vouchers are valid for 6 months from point of purchase and are valid only for the purchase of a Friends of Wigmore Hall membership. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Re-prints

In the event that tickets have not been received in the post, or have been mislaid, duplicate tickets can be issued. Please contact the Box Office on 020 7935 2141.

Delivery/collection

Your tickets will be sent out by post if time permits. If they are purchased within 5 days of the performance, they will be held at the Box Office. These tickets can be collected at the Pre-Paid Tickets Desk before the performance, upon presentation of the Debit/Credit Card used to make your booking.

Latecomers

Latecomers can only be admitted during a suitable pause in the performance, determined by the Wigmore Hall Management. For some performances, latecomers cannot be admitted.

Re-admittance

We will do our very best to accommodate those needing to leave the auditorium during a performance due to a medical need. Depending on availability and the nature of the performance, this may mean temporary re-seating in a seat near the rear of the Hall until a suitable pause.

Photography

No photographic or recording equipment of any kind may be used in the auditorium without prior written permission of Wigmore Hall's Management.

Events recording for broadcast and live streaming

Wigmore Hall or permitted third parties may carry out filming and sound recording in or about the venue. By purchasing tickets you consent to filming, photography and sound recording which may include you or any member of your party and its use in commercial distribution without payment or copyright. Wherever possible, tickets and signage in the building will state whether events will be filmed.

Under 18s, families and school groups

We welcome people of all ages to Wigmore Hall, and our Learning programme offers a wide range of events for children, families, school groups, young people and adults.

Children aged 7 years and over, accompanied and supervised by an adult, are very welcome at our evening concerts. For children under 7, we recommend our Early Years programme.
