Named after the ancient Greek goddess of the hunt,the Berlin-based Artemis Quartet secured its placeat the top table of string quartets with sensationaldebut performances at the world’s leading chambermusic venues in the 1990s.
The ensemble’s latest Wigmore Hall programme includes music from Mozart and Grieg, as well as string quartet maestro, Shostakovich.
