Overview
The Russian-born Israeli pianistmade his transcription ofShostakovich’s third string quartetfollowing the success of hisarrangement of the Eighth. In thisprogramme he surrounds it withmighty sonatas by Beethoven andProkofiev and Ravel’s charming18th-century pastiche.
