Overview
A distinguished group of stringplayers come together for oneof the great masterpieces ofchamber music: Mendelssohn’sexpansive Octet, composed in1825 when he was just 16. Asubstantial piece dating from 1788,Mozart’s single complete work forstring trio provides the first half.
