Programme

Overview

Recognised internationally as an ensemble of exceptional breadth of range as well as quality, the quartet was awarded the artistic directorship of the Mendelssohn on Mull Festival in 2018. This evening’s programme includes one of Mozart’s ‘Prussian’ quartets dedicated to the King of Prussia, Friedrich Wilhelm II, followed by Britten’s 1975 quartet which he dedicated to the musicologist Hans Keller.
