Overview

Sometimes dubbed the Black Mahler by New York musicians when he first appeared in the city as a conductor in 1910, Coleridge-Taylor is placed in the context of his leading continental colleagues. The exceptional British soprano’s CD of his songs has received high praise.

The Coleridge-Taylor Series is made possible with support from the Wigmore Hall Endowment Fund.
