Overview
This season marks a belated celebration of the 50th anniversary of record company ECM (Edition of Contemporary Music), as well as the 80th birthday of founder Manfred Eicher.
Three artists associated with the label offer two familiar works plus a set of shortpieces by Tigran Mansurian, born in Beirut in 1939, whose family moved to hisancestral Armenia in 1947 and whose works the label has championed: owingsomething to Beethoven’s example, his 5 Bagatelles date from 1985.
This concert is part of the CAVATINA Chamber Music Trust ticket scheme, offering free tickets to those aged 8-25
