Overview
Amidst two better known works in the piano quartet genre, Kaleidoscope performs Coleridge-Taylor’s moving early trio (1893) – rediscovered in 1999 in the library of the Royal College of Music – as well as Fanny Mendelssohn’s attractive first chamber composition, written in 1822, when she turned 17.
